When best friends Glen and Terry stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen?s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. I was freaked out the first time i watched this movie. Watched it many times since then. Love it to this day. Only love can conquer evil, eat your heart out harry potter, this is how muggles defeat evil.

First, let me start by saying, as a child I LOVED this movie. Stephen Dorff only being a year or two older than me, growing up in the 80s and loving horror movies, this was and remains one of my favorites. I took notes from this movie, just in case this happened to me. Secondly, I totally cried when the movie ended because I felt overjoyed the kids lived, and I didnt want the movie to end. I wanted to know more. The sequel by the way, sucks! Demons, hot fashion of the 80s, tract housing and lame lingo all go hand in hand in this tale of a slumber party gone extremely wrong. NEVER leave your kids at home is all Im saying.

This is one of the all time greatest horror movies EVER! I grew up on this movie! I can not even count how many times I have seen it. If you truly love classic horror movies, YOU HAVE TO CHECK THIS OUT!
