This version I watched at a festival screening - it's micro budget but this is many standards above the last version telling the story. Firstly, the acting is exceptional, Harry Price is brilliant as are Julian Sands, Colin Baker, Christopher Ellison and the fabulous Toyah Willcox as Estelle Roberts. Secondly it has some genuine scare moments and a sense of seclusion. It centres around Harry Price's stay in the semi derelict Borley Rectory in 1937. It certainly plays out like a TV film and is really great for the zero budget they must of had to make it. The locations are great and reflect how the rectory really did look in 1937.
