About this movie

Laurence Harvey plays a Eurasian photographer who is trapped in Japan, but who wants to emigrate to the United States. His visa is continually delayed, which causes him to use his charm with women to pull some strings and apply some pressure on the embassy. His romantic magnetism works on a thrill-seeking American and an aristocratic Japanese woman. They both love him and further complicate his life by forcing him to choose between them.

Ratings and reviews

This movie included some realistic scenarios,. I liked the plots that included the earnest yet not commited better or worse between the lead man. Mr. Harvey and of course the leading actress Ms. Nyuen,. (hope I spelled that correctly). So the supporting cast does a cinvincing effort of trying to display JAPANESE CULTURE in microcosm. Very good and I thunk it was ahead of its time in a scrutinizing world it is set in.
