Eighteen-year-old Matthew Kidman (Emile Hirsch) is a straight-arrow over-achiever who has never really lived life... until he falls for his new neighbor, the beautiful and seemingly innocent Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert). When Matthew discovers this perfect "girl next door" is a one-time porn star, his sheltered existence begins to spin out of control. Ultimately Danielle helps Matthew emerge from his shell, and discover that sometimes you have to risk everything for the person you love

Definitely in the top 10 of anyone who enjoys these special movies made with the right combination of emotional tropes. To say nothing of the talented cast and soundtrack. It speaks to the teen in us all and the unfortunate passage of time and circumstances that make us forget that we were all young and foolish once. It tells us that life is too short to take it too seriously and that we have to sometimes rediscover that we were once young and fun! I highly recommend this film.

I absolutely love this movie. Yes Elisha is simply gorgeous but the movie is hilarious and heart warming. Well worth the watch.
