A filmről
Humanity has been all but destroyed by a fungal disease that eradicates free will and turns its victims into flesh eating "hungries." Only a small group of children seem immune to its effects. At an army base in rural England, this group of unique children are being studied, subjected to cruel experiments. When the base falls, one little girl escapes and must discover what she is, and ultimately decide both her own future and that of the human race.

The girl with all the gifts. I read the book which I didn't like. So I thought I'd see the movie. Melanie a child zombie from some sorta fungal infection. I'm thinking this movie reminded me of "the happening" when the pollen turned people mad. But hey, It happens a lot. No originality. I really enjoyed melanies performance in this movie everyone else fell flat. Thus 3 stars for melanie. Good job.

It was a little dry. It was kind of like... Really? Honestly, I love zombie movies and try to give all of them a chance. But this one just made me want to smack my forehead. I guess it's interesting because of the different view, and many people probably enjoyed it, but I don't like little British zombies... who aren't really zombies... but are zombies? The whole concept just seemed a little ridiculous and just left a bad taste in my mouth.

So first off this isn't a new spin on zombies. On film it is but The Last of Us has pretty much the same concept. The movie is good it hits a lot of the ending plot. But it ruined the impact of a lot of the scenes from the book. There was a lot more dialogue between Melanie Dr Caldwell and Sgt Petersen especially at the end. Overall okay.
