As a standalone movie this is pretty good. There's action, mystery, sex, violence and plenty of other stuff to keep you going. If you've read the books, then the movie is a bit odd. It is almost like 1 and 2 halves of the trilogy bolted together, and can be a bit hard to follow. In fact, some important plot points are missing from the movie.

Excellent film. Stellar acting, direction, cinematography, and sound design that immerses you in the atmosphere. It's relentless in pace but, unlike it's Swedish predecessor, remains faithful to the original characters and story. And while the 5-act structure may feel long, in the end it only leaves you wanting more.

Loved this movie. Even the gruesome disturbing parts. Femal lead plays brilliant part. Havent seen original version nor read book. Watched it with no preconcieved expectations and really loved it. Good twists turns and blood hear n there. Action + thriller.
