2012(e)ko martxoaren 30(a) This movie really captured the tone of the book and all of the actors did a fantastic job of portraying the characters. A lot of people seemed turned off by the movie because they think it is a remake of the Swedish version, however this is just a different adaptation of the book. I am a fan of the Swedish version and think Noomi was brilliant, but Rooney in this version stayed very true to the character in the book and completely deserved her Oscar nomination. The directing, cinematography and soundtrack are all top notch as well. I recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind a graphic and gritty mystery/thriller/drama.

2018(e)ko ekainaren 10(a) This movie and all the books as well show the true resilience of the female spirit and how, if you put a strong woman in a tight spot she will again and again come to amaze as well as surprise you. Lisbeth is a person that started out as a girl and was foraged through fire and pain into a woman with an Iron will, she is something to almost be admired, for she shows strength, bravery, and kindness when needed. These are very rare things to see in people now adays. So before you go and write off this movie like so many have, take a second look and consider watching it. It mite just become you favorite movie.

2012(e)ko martxoaren 29(a) Rarely do we see strong character roles for women but this is one of the best ever. Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander is absolutely amazing. Shoulda won Best Actress but the Academy settled on the safe, dull choice of Meryl Streep (yawn). Each role was perfectly cast. Christopher Plummer, who won for Best Supporting Actor, is at the top of his game. Daniel Craig is the complete opposite of James Bond in this one, showing that the man can really, really act. Fincher does his best work. NIN soundtrack is foreboding. A+.
