Rubbish, nothing like the book and the story was disjointed and badly told. Hope the Daniel Craig version is better, although realistically it couldn't be any worse

Unlike some film adaptations of books, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo follows the story of the book with only a handful of "inaccuracies", none of which detract from the story in my opinion. All the main parts/events from the book are there and I wouldn't discourage people from seeing it because of the alterations, although having read the book does give you the backstory to the characters and helps fill in the inevitable gaps that a 2.5 hour film leaves.
