During an outbreak of a deadly plague, a young woman, Hanna, must save her tight-knit Jewish community from invaders. Turning to Jewish mysticism, she conjures a dangerous entity to protect her and her people. It's hard to find movies that look into the world of Jewish people, much less a horror movie. To have something like this is really special, especially because it's done with honest intentions and phenomenal production. Everyone associated with the film clearly gave it their all and it shows. The Golem is one of those movies that everyone needs to see.

As a fan of the classic silent GOLEM, it's exciting to see the mythology finally told as a historical epic almost a century later... and best of all, done so well! It combines gorgeous visuals and strong performances with an apocalyptic mood. Scary and beautiful!

Dark, disturbing, and demonic. If you are looking for something that goes beyond the typical horror story and takes you into a twisted abyss that will haunt your brain for days, then you need to check this out. For true fans of the horror genre.
