But always what you hope for. In a brilliant turn from acclaimed director Wes Anderson, comes a joyous romp with some of cinema's newest oddballs. Sadder, funnier, and faster than you'd expect it to be, the Grand Budapest Hotel is a wonderful collection of scattered stories and the tenuous umbrella that holds them all together. Hold each other until the very end. It is the people that make the story worth telling.

Wes Anderson really shows his film making strength here. He steps away from the (and not in a negative sense) childishness of his most popular films and tackles violence and sexuality with all the charm and wit he does everything else with.

Wes Anderson's masterpiece. I loved The Royal Teninbalms, Fantastic Mr Fox and Moonrise Kingdom, but this the just spectacular. Everything about this movie is just beautiful from the cinematography to the acting to the script, it's just incredible. This is my second favorite movie if all time, and I am sure that it will stay there for a long time 10/10
