Based on the best-selling novel, The Hate U Give tells the story of Starr Carter, who lives in two worlds: the poor, black neighborhood where she resides and the mostly white prep school she attends. This uneasy balance is shattered when she witnesses the fatal shooting of her childhood friend by a policeman. It is good to speak out what you have in your mind and stand up for your rights and also I am proud that I am black because white people may think that they have more power than us but I know that we both have the same powers and rights to rule the nation because God made us fair. Any way it's the best movie ever🖤🖤

this movie really moved me into thinking about the odds and what could happen , it made me focus on the people in my Life and appreciating them more often. Great movie.

although the book is a lot fuller, the movie keeps some good parts of it, too bad it skips and/or changes many others. loved the book, liked the movie.
