À propos de ce film

Nominated for 3 Academy Awards®. Quentin Tarantino’s eighth film takes place six or eight or twelve years after the Civil War. Bounty hunter John Ruth (Kurt Russell) is racing through a blizzard toward Red Rock to have captured fugitive Daisy Domergue (Academy Award®-Nominee Jennifer Jason Leigh) hanged when he comes across another bounty hunter (Samuel L. Jackson) and a man claiming to be the sheriff (Walton Goggins). When the blizzard worsens, the four take refuge in a mountain stopover where they encounter four more strangers.  Soon the tension from the close quarters and the bounty on Daisy’s head lead some to wonder if any of them will make it to Red Rock.

As a writer, I can appreciate QT's creativity to filmmaking. But, as a person of color, I feel there's an arrogance to his use of the N word. He use to talk of a black father figure, being exposed to culture, then. Now, as a writer he's free to use a vicious, ugly word that denigrates Black people? I call BS. Crimson Tide. QT worked on that film and inserted the N word in the script. Denzel had it removed. He relish that vile word to degrade his audience and shame on black actors who OK's it.

This movie pissed me off... What is the point in using the N word 90 time or more in a 2 hour film... I'm starting to look at Quentin T differently.. Is he try to live through his Characters.. In any Case I will say it was a good story, but again pointless use of unnecessary language is what's making me say the movie is just okay

Ok, I was impressed with Kill Bill 1, 2. Quentin has great vision for flow, timing and the scenes are incredibly beautiful. BUT. (wait for it) ...... This movie's story line kind of ruins what would otherwise be great acting from such an all-star cast. This movie does not deserve 4 stars. In spite of the 5 star cinematography and actors, the plot and unnecessarily graphic gore drags it down to 2 stars in my opinion.
