لمحة عن هذا الفيلم

A stagecoach hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape. The passengers, bounty hunter John Ruth (Kurt Russell) and his fugitive Daisy Domergue (Jennifer Jason Leigh), race towards the town of Red Rock where Ruth, known in these parts as "The Hangman," will bring Domergue to justice. Along the road, they encounter two strangers: Major Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson), a black former union soldier turned infamous bounty hunter, and Chris Mannix (Walton Goggins), a southern renegade who claims to be the town's new Sheriff. Losing their lead on the blizzard, Ruth, Domergue, Warren and Mannix seek refuge at Minnie's Haberdashery, a stagecoach stopover on a mountain pass. When they arrive at Minnie's, they are greeted not by the proprietor but by four unfamiliar faces. Bob (Demian Bichir), who's taking care of Minnie's while she's visiting her mother, is holed up with Oswaldo Mobray (Tim Roth), the hangman of Red Rock, cow-puncher Joe Gage (Michael Madsen), and Confederate General Sanford Smithers (Bruce Dern). As the storm overtakes the mountainside stopover, our eight travelers come to learn they may not make it to Red Rock after all… 2015 Visiona Romantica, Inc. All rights reserved.

The Hateful Eight is one of those films you will either love or hate, there’s no middle ground here. Great cast, good acting which equals to a slow burner of a story and character build up. This sums the film up to about the last half hour, where the burners engage. I am not a big fan of the Tarantino film franchise but I’m sure a avid fan will love it. It’s a western with the usual twist and gore thrown in. Well worth a watch if you like the Tarantino style film a 3.5 out of 5 from me.

A twisted plot film that relies heavily on dialogue and character build. Not a film for the easily bored or restless. Worth a watch but not the best Tarantino and not as action packed as you would imagine (or like). Definitely not a typical wild west. As always for this Director, expect excessive blood. A movie more for the beauty of film making and scripted dialogue.

I thought it was gunna be like django but sure as hell wasn't, although Sam L Jackson had similar characteristics in some ways to his role in django, it's a brilliant twist with a great ending, was not typical storyline and for a great western film it was certainly one of a kind. This mixture of characteristics in the beginning to the end in one area made one hell of a good story line.
