Best damn remake of an originally AWESOME film to begin with; I'm a firm believer that if one is going to attempt to re-do something already done by another, (films, music, etc.) then that one should do the remake, AT LEAST as well, or even better than the original - sticking to original plots, iconic/memorable scenes unchanged, except for the updates on time periods, and the use of advance technology to improve likelihood of success with remake! And that's PRECISELY the case with this movie! FAVORITE EVER

boring and not legitimate demonic terror. Nothing comes close to the Excorcist, the Blair Witch Project is the best in 40 years though with almost no budget. This story is also false whenever the Warrens or other "experts" are brought to bear. This is nonsense. Sorry.

Don't listen to the naysayers are the negative nancys about this movie... This was a great remake of the original... It's a little eerie and a little scary packed with the same punch and it will most definitely awaken & trigger all of your heebie-jeebie sensors... I loved it, I've watched it more than a few times... This is one of those movies that you would watch over & over on a rainy day or a cold & stormy night just to get the full effect of the movie!!!
