Welcome to the war-torn Nuba Mountains of Sudan, where American doctor Tom Catena selflessly and courageously serves the needs of a forgotten people, as the region is bombed relentlessly by an indicted war criminal, Omar al-Bashir. Two things remain constant: Dr. Tom’s faith and his enduring love for the Nuba people.

Tom runs as a king in his hospital, which brings him back from New York to this area constantly. His hospital is below standard. I doubt the survival rate of his operation. Nevertheless, Tom is a hero at Nuba. Tom risks his life. The only out for Tom is to train and recruit more doctors to Nuba hospital. Tom is working against a formal government in Nuba, what the point? Why Tom go to work against an established government? It is a hopeless mission. Tom only cure his own heart of doctor dream. Tom cannot rescue the whole village of Nuba. Tom needs to find a better way.
