Über diesen Film

Based on the original film by fright master Wes Craven, The Hills Have Eyes is the story of a family road trip that goes terrifyingly awry when the travelers become stranded in a government atomic zone. Miles from nowhere, the Carter family soon realizes the seemingly uninhabited wasteland is actually the breeding ground of a blood-thirsty mutant family...and they are the prey.

The original is the original so let’s put that to one side and focus on this remake. This is a watchable film, full of edge of the seat terror, gore, blood and enough nasty bits to keep most horror hounds happy. This is full on and not for the faint heated, overall it hits the mark with a big punch. You can’t compare this to the original the film industry has moved on and so do films. There are far worse remakes out there this in my opinion is one of the better ones.

This is a really good remake & one of the best imo. Still have a fondness for the original but this is superb. It's so hard to find a genuinely terrifying horror movie nowadays, the majority of the newer ones are pretty lame and try to be "funny" this one pulls no punches and grosses you out like horror should, it's a real shame they don't make horror movies like this anymore.

Wish they would make more movies this way horrors lately are very boring and don't make u jump any more or feel grossed out, like they should
