This is not a patch on the original however this film ticks all the boxes, plenty of tension and some gore thrown in for good measure. We all know the 1986 original film is a classic which stands the test of time even to the point where its still quoted too as one of the best films ever made. Any remake won’t come close but this is watchable, so give it a try, The Hitcher with a twist,

watch the Thomas C Howell / Rutger Hauer Original..... far far superior and creepy as FU.....

The original was so much better. Ill wait for that version!
