Acerca deste filme

The world’s top protection agent (Ryan Reynolds) is called upon to guard the life of his mortal enemy, one of the world’s most notorious hit men (Samuel L. Jackson). The relentless bodyguard and manipulative assassin have been on the opposite end of the bullet for years, and are thrown together for a wildly outrageous 24 hours. During their raucous and hilarious adventure from England to the Hague, they encounter high-speed car chases, outlandish boat escapades, and a merciless Eastern European dictator (Gary Oldman) who is out for blood. Salma Hayek joins the mayhem as Jackson’s equally notorious wife.

I wanted to watch this because of Samuel L Jackson, who I am a big fan of. After watching this however, I am an equally big fan of Ryan Reynolds. The movie is basically a mixed package of shooting people, laughing your head off, and crying because they actually (spoiler alert) liked each other in the end. Kinkaid (Jackson) proves this by saying to Ducavich "the moment you f**ked up is when you shot my Bodyguard." And on that track, yes, there is about a swear word every 30 seconds so just saying. Other than that and a few sexual references and a couple gory scenes the movie isn't that bad in terms of PG. Honestly though, after watching this once, it has been the only movie I've watched: over and over and over again. It is definitely my favorite movie ever. It's just very entertaining watching two bad-@'s kill people while they hate each other and become friends in the end. Beauty. 10/10

Terrifically snarky banter that felt refreshingly unscripted (and I suspect much of it was improvised by the leading duo) throughout, a generous helping of action sequences and stunts that Bond movies might do well to emulate (aside from one regrettably horrible CGI boat moment), a halfway decent main plot, and a more impressive unifying subplot of forgiveness and acceptance of others and ones self, all added up to a thoroughly enjoyable action comedy. Yes, there were a few moments that felt close to being a "Deadpool & Nick Fury Team-Up!", but on the whole they managed to keep the characters in this movie original, while still allowing them to be of that type, and have it be fitting. Having said that, fans of the MCU representations of those characters should especially enjoy this film. PARENTS: be aware - violence abounds in this movie, with a smattering of gore, and (as should be expected) when you mix Samuel L Jackson and the actor who fought to be the one to embody the most foul-mouthed character in the Marvel cinematic universe....the F-bombs drop like a wartime blitz. You have been warned.

Sam and Ryan make a great comedy duel. Ryen is playing more of staitman but not classical kind having his comedy stick: and Sam is slap stick with stile where he usually plays straight man but here his comedic side with his quick whit and his laughter usually at Ryan's expense but still his having his cool badass self that we all know him for will not disappoint.
