Sobre aquesta pel·lícula

The adventure follows Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim Erebor with the help of Gandalf the Grey and 13 Dwarves led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakenshield. Their journey will take them into the Wild, through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins, Orcs and deadly Wargs, as well as a mysterious and sinister figure known only as the Necromancer. Although their goal lies to the East and the wastelands of the Lonely Mountain, first they must escape the Goblin tunnels, where Bilbo meets the creature that will change his life forever...Gollum. Here, alone with Gollum, on the shores of an underground lake, the unassuming Bilbo Baggins not only discovers depths of ingenuity and courage that surprise even him, he also gains possession of Gollum's "precious" ring that holds unexpected and useful qualities...A simple, gold ring that is tied to the fate of all Middle-earth in ways Bilbo cannot begin to know. This was a great beginning to the Hobbit film trilogy. Everyone for the last 80 years has read this book, so I doubt there will be any plot spoilers below. From the cosy surroundings of the Shire and Bag End, to the sense of adventure going out on the road, to the real dangers faced against orcs and a thrilling finale with the eagle flight, the mental images from my childhood were brilliantly brought to life on the screen. Thoroughly enjoyable escapism from a cold wet English winter.

Amazing CGI does not equal good screenplay or acting. Not as good as the first movie and leagues away from the LOTR trilogy. The acting was poor with certain exceptions (Tauriel was brilliant, and Smaug was good). The screenplay just feels a bit patchwork in places. Hopefully the next one is better.

Started perfectly, the songs, the atmosphere, beautiful. Then radagast turned up with poo on his face and some new white orc and it was all down hill
