Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson returns to Middle-earth with the final of three films based on J.R.R. Tolkien's enduring masterpiece. The Extended Edition film is 19 minutes longer with new and extended scenes, not seen in the theatrical release.

Waited decades for this and... NOPE NOPE No, Lord of the Rings was perfection and the extended editions could of gone on forever IMO, but Pete Jackson has disappeared up his three part extended edition green screen CGI butt with this garbage.
