Seeking shelter from a storm, abandoned young cat Thunder sneaks into a mysterious mansion owned by retired magician Lawrence, aka 'The Illustrious Lorenzo'. Lawrence shares his fairy-tale world with many animals and a dazzling array of automatons and gizmos capable of whipping up breakfast while rolling out a spectacular song-and-dance routine. He soon makes Thunder feel welcome, but Jack the Rabbit and Maggie the Mouse start plotting to get him kicked out. When Lawrence ends up in the hospital, his nephew tries to trick him into selling the house. But its ragtag inhabitants develop a spooky strategy to defend their home. They turn their house into a haunted mansion, using Thunder as their secret weapon...

I feel very bad that this movie didn't get a wider release as it is a wonderful children's movie with a great story and colourful animation. I am disappointed with recent big movie studio animations, which is why I love indie movies like this! Cute movie, I recommend seeing it, children will love it! Way better than Pixar movies from 2010 onwards.

I watched this film on the way back from my holiday in China and I love this film. Plus my favourite part was when the cat came to the house and the part where the magician went to hospital after an accident because he met some children. Also I don't have this film on my phone but I might watch it whenever it's on TV.

Really can't recommend this. My 8 year old daughter lost interest half way through. I lost interest much earlier on. Just wasn't that entertaining or funny and seeing it through to the end felt like a chore.
