About this movie

Climate change has turned parts of the American Midwest into a desert. The world economic recession is in its thirtieth year. In an attempt to erase deficit and improve productivity the government has legislated the deportation of all unproductive citizens. In the name of fairness and transparency a Federal Government agency known as the Humanity Bureau has been established to investigate and make selections based on a rating system. Citizens wishing to appeal their exile to a colony known as New Eden are given twenty-four hours to plead their case. An impartial case worker is sent to investigate and decide their fate. NOAH KROSS (Nicolas Cage) is a studious government employee fast tracked for promotion. In the drought stricken farm community, Noah is sent to adjudicate the appeal of single mother RACHEL WELLER (Sarah Lind) and her young son LUCAS (Jakob Davies). Rachel is at wits’ end. She desperately needs a second chance, but Noah and his superior ADAM WESTINGHOUSE (Hugh Dillon) know the truth. All Humanity Bureau verdicts are final and Rachel’s fate was sealed long before Noah arrived to spin the government’s illusion of hope and salvation. After a random accident, Noah begins to question his role in the bureaucracy. Knowing the unjust fate of the innocent boy, Kross sets off to save the lives of the mother and child and to expose the truth about the Humanity Bureau’s secrets once and for all. On a dust choked acreage where dignity departed with the last long forgotten rain, a fatherless boy and a resilient woman with secrets of her own challenge Noah to be a better man.

it was very good, because I had just Ravage, and O brother where art thou, I thought the lil boy was going to shoot the census man. But no, he never found out all the cows and horses were dead. From the mosquitos in the high grass with swine FLEW. They had to take ACID to remove their brands and tattoos form the concentration camps and The Governor owned the water distillery.. I domy think there was no red snake (coachwhip) aThe police knew if any one called in sick with Ebola to let kill em

Wow Nicolas Cage has to do garbage like this now just to pay the bills. Extremely low budget bad acting all across the board. Very weak script don't waste your time with this garbage.

I've seen commercials more captivating and less predictable then this movie. Clearly Nicolas Cage lost a bet and ended up being in a movie no one should have to pay to watch.
