Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. Part twisted entertainment, part government intimidation tactic, the Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which "Tributes" must fight with one another until one survivor remains.

Pitted against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives, Katniss is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentorship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy. There can only be one winner and that winner is......Me, for going to sleep halfway through the movie. It's all been done before by better actors and better writers. Actually the actors are kids and it really shows. Quite boring and a load of trash. I cant believe I wasted 1.4 gig on this junk and it would have been more if I watched it all. 2 stars for the scenery. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Although the books are a hell of a lot more riveting I understand that this is targeted at teenagers. To me it's a story of a 16 year old girl defys a power nobody thinks can be touched Katniss Everdeen is full of love for people who don't even really deserve it ( I can relate to that). Turns a nation of slaves into an army just by her presence and starts a spark that turns into an inferno of fire that can't be stopped....

It is the best movie on the planet I Luv Katniss and Petta! I've also seen the second one, it was awesome as hell, and there's gonna be another one but no more after that, I don't want it to everrrrrrrrrrrrrr end please.. . :'( I rate this movie: Opps scale broke I love itso much, I wish I could meet them one day, and it would be awesome if I was in there next movie but that would never happen, I love this movie so so much I can't even explain it, and happy new year, all the best for 2014 <3 xxxxxx
