After a remote diamond mine collapses in far northern Canada, a ‘big-rig’ ice road driver (Liam Neeson) must lead an impossible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save the trapped miners. Contending with thawing waters and a massive storm, they discover the real threat is one they never saw coming.

What, on God's green earth, did I just watch. This may be the best comedy I've seen all year, but unfortunately I don't believe that comedy was the intention. Realism definitely wasn't on the list of what was important to the studio either. This has to be the most laughable, contrived, and just plain old pathetic excuse for a movie I've seen in decades. All in all? If you want a good ironic laugh, it's worth the watch, just don't expect to learn anything from it.

I rented based on other's reviews...ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THIS MOVIE IS DUMB, totally ridiculous and stupid...so many holes in the story. As a northerner, I find it just offensive to my intelligence.
