The Ice Road

After a remote diamond mine collapses in far northern Canada, a ‘big-rig’ ice road driver (Liam Neeson) must lead an impossible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save the trapped miners. Contending with thawing waters and a massive storm, they discover the real threat is one they never saw coming.

I don't cry at movies....but this was an amazing tear jerker....and I loved the action, it had all the great elements of an action movie, and I loved it when Neeson clocked the manager...Neeson is so Tactical....lolol. Awesome movie...except for one thing...having driven on ice roads myself, I don't know that large 'super heavy' trucks would drive so close to each other...the ice road wave would start pretty quick in that situation, still a super great movie. I love Liam Neeson-my hero:)

What, on God's green earth, did I just watch. This may be the best comedy I've seen all year, but unfortunately I don't believe that comedy was the intention. Realism definitely wasn't on the list of what was important to the studio either. This has to be the most laughable, contrived, and just plain old pathetic excuse for a movie I've seen in decades. All in all? If you want a good ironic laugh, it's worth the watch, just don't expect to learn anything from it.

One of the worst movies ever produced with Liam Neeson. Poor script poor acting poor directing.. not one thing I liked about this movie.
