Twin brothers are unknowingly separated at birth; one of them becomes iconic rock 'n' roll star Drexel Hemsley, while Ryan Wade struggles to balance his love for music and pleasing his father. Despite opposition from his adopted parents, Ryan unflinchingly chooses to launch his own music career as "The Identical"- performing the legendary music of Drexel Hemsley in sold out venues across the country.
