Arguably a cult film among baby boomers, this delightful comedy/fantasy tells the story of a nervous little Brooklyn bookkeeper who has an overwhelming love for fish. After rejection by the Navy, he actually becomes a fish (through the miracle of animation), meets a snail who shows him the "underwater" ropes, falls in love with a lady fish, and becomes a real war hero.

I am a huge Don Knotts fan I have seen most if not all of his films but this one is the best I loved him on The Andy Griffith Show this movie is definitely a must see family film they do not make films like it anymore I wish they did though

Love love this movie....I was 2 yrs old when my Daddy sat with me on Saturday matinee on our black and white picture tube...eventually we got a big color console and watched this one every chance I could!!! RIP Daddy 💙✌🤗

saw it as a young girl it was magical and funny, im 61 now and would love to show it to my younger family members.
