A pale imitation of the infinitely superior three cinematic versions of Jack Finney's novel. If only we all got to see original director Oliver Hirschbiegel's version, instead of this James McTeigue pale and impersonal cop-out, then this movie might have been far more memorable. Also, where are the "pod person screams" - you can't hope to match the previous films, if you don't even have the infamous scream sound effect.

... but the convenient ending is a bit of a let down. Worth a buy at the sale price, but not worth full price

Poor man's body snatchers. Stella cast. Poor, slow, laborious padded out story. Avoid.
