What you can't see can hurt you. Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss (Us, Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale) stars in a terrifying modern tale of obsession inspired by Universal's classic monster character. Trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister (Harriet Dyer, NBC's The InBetween), their childhood friend (Aldis Hodge, Straight Outta Compton) and his teenage daughter (Storm Reid, HBO's Euphoria). But when Cecilia's abusive ex (Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House) commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia's sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.

To my opinion, it is up there with 'Hereditary' and 'The Shining'. It tackles a problematic that is common nowadays. Psychopaths are common nowadays. And psychopaths need to be treated. The character Elisabeth Moss plays is absolutely stunning. She gives you all the treats a great actress gives. She is a top actress, to my opinion. The spectator empathizes with her character. For art-lovers, I can only encourage one to take a peak at the picture. It is a great motive if you wish to enjoy a high-quality work. The beauty of the cinematic experience will leave one breathless. Some of the shots are very praiseworthy, to my opinion. And to those who want to overcome their fears, this film might be your option for the night. It may be a therapeutic practice, watching the film. It will make one feel negative emotions such as fear and terror. And it will help one heal also. With the sound effects one experiences the flow of the narrative in a pleasant manner. The music is so neatly constructed that it kind of flows with the images. This is an harmonically shaped piece of work. The original score is one that combines modern beats with minimalist scary features. In the end, the picture offers one a great entertainment and a psychological thrill. And if one has watched Tenet, this will leave them aching for more. This feature film will make you check the door lock at night before going to bed.

Great Film that builds suspense but distances itself from other conventional horror films by utilizing a more modern plot. While it starts off slow and even drags a bit at points, The Invisible Man is still one of the very best modern horrors and that's in part due to Elizabeth Moss' amazing performance and Leigh Whannell's incredible directing. Backed up by a stellar, atmospherepric score by one Benjamin Wallfisch this movie is definitely one to remember and one to keep going to timeaftertime.

Ridiculous and boring. From the first ten minutes of the film with her slow and silly escape, through to the suit, this film is full of plot holes, poor writing, silly ideas and tedious direction. Probably the worst ever version of the Invisible Man. Not good at all, avoid. I only paid £1.49 to rent it with an offer from Google and still feel I wasted my money.
