영화 정보

What you can't see can hurt you. Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss (Us, Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale) stars in a terrifying modern tale of obsession inspired by Universal's classic monster character. Trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister (Harriet Dyer, NBC's The InBetween), their childhood friend (Aldis Hodge, Straight Outta Compton) and his teenage daughter (Storm Reid, HBO's Euphoria). But when Cecilia's abusive ex (Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House) commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia's sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.

Ridiculous and boring. From the first ten minutes of the film with her slow and silly escape, through to the suit, this film is full of plot holes, poor writing, silly ideas and tedious direction. Probably the worst ever version of the Invisible Man. Not good at all, avoid. I only paid £1.49 to rent it with an offer from Google and still feel I wasted my money.

It's not full of action not in your face CGI but instead a dark personal story that's written well to keep you on edge with effects. My only criticism was the main character who is a fantastic actor , just her look didn't seem suit the role and with her having 90% screen time it became a distraction

Great Film that builds suspense but distances itself from other conventional horror films by utilizing a more modern plot. While it starts off slow and even drags a bit at points, The Invisible Man is still one of the very best modern horrors and that's in part due to Elizabeth Moss' amazing performance and Leigh Whannell's incredible directing. Backed up by a stellar, atmospherepric score by one Benjamin Wallfisch this movie is definitely one to remember and one to keep going to timeaftertime.
