Rreth këtij filmi

What you can't see can hurt you. Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss (Us, Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale) stars in a terrifying modern tale of obsession inspired by Universal's classic monster character. Trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister (Harriet Dyer, NBC's The InBetween), their childhood friend (Aldis Hodge, Straight Outta Compton) and his teenage daughter (Storm Reid, HBO's Euphoria). But when Cecilia's abusive ex (Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House) commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia's sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.

The best adaptation of HG Wells classic novel, thoroughly modernized with some sensational twists(and a shocking twist ending), but the core elements and themes are quite surprisingly faithful and the film's horror scenes are superbly directed. Elizabeth Moss is superb and so is Oliver Jackson-Cohen. The $30 rental price is simply because the film is brand new and sadly was pulled from cinemas due to the Coronavirus. This way you can watch it now at home.

*PLEASE DISREGARD THE BAD REVIEWS DUE TO PREVIOUS PRICING* Okay, so now we have cleared that up, lets download this movie and give it a view because it is something else. The true horror which lies behind this film is how real it all feels - the situation, the characters, the premise behind the 'Invisible Man'. This film provides a much deeper meaning than what is being shown at the surface as a horror movie - it depicts domestic abuse in a cinematic way which can make the viewer to almost feel sick with dread for the main protagonist as she struggles through her story. It is even more of a disturbing and eye-opening experience if you try place yourself in the shoes of the main character and feel her hopelessness throughout. The 'Invisible Man' is much more than what I thought it would be and I would highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys smart and deeper set films.

i really enjoyed this movie. IMO Blumhouse always make good horror/thriller movies and this is no exception. i loved the idea behind the movie and the storyline. The CGI effects are amazing, things and people floating in mid-air. Had me guessing until the end who was in the suit. I liked how the ending happened. No spoilers but it was a good way to end the movie. Definitely give this one a watch, been wanting to watch it for a while and i was not disappointed. While there was only 1 jump scare that got me, there were a few suspenseful minutes where i thought something might happen.
