Atrapada en una violenta y controladora relación con un brillante científico, Cecilia (Elisabeth Moss) logra escapar una noche y dejar atrás a su maltratador. Poco después, su expareja fallece repentinamente, aunque ella parece no terminar de creérselo. Aún así, Cecilia intenta rehacer su vida y superar el trauma. Pero pronto comenzarán a suceder cosas extrañas en su entorno y a sus seres queridos, lo que hace que su idea de que todo sea un engaño de su expareja cobre más fuerza en su cabeza. Todo aquello que quiere estará en juego mientras la cordura de Cecilia será cuestionada y ella intenta descubrir la verdad que nadie parece ver.

Calificaciones y opiniones

Far too many holes and common sense mistakes. For example, how the heck was he declared dead without the body? It takes 7 years to legally declare someone who goes missing as dead. You can make a HUGE list of common sense mistakes and things you are expected to overlook. The logic is suited for a 10 year old perhaps, but the rating is for a mature audience, so really nobody can enjoy this.

The reason why I watched "The invisible man" is because of the same director who also made movie "Upgrade". I really enjoyed "Upgrade" but unfortunately this movie falls too short in every aspect - I literally had to skip 40% of the movie because it's so obvious what will happen next, acting, script and mostly dialog. Do not recommend this movie to anyone unless it's come out on streaming services.

I liked it. Yeah, there were some big plot holes but you can't get hung up on those. It's a cool movie. I really like the new take on the whole invisibility "power". That was an angle I hadn't seen done before. I also like how the story revolves around the wife and how no one believes her. The ending wrapped up a little too perfectly but generally it was a fun movie to watch.
