Den engelske oppdageren Jonathan Green mottar en ordre fra Peter den Store om å kartlegge det russiske den av Det fjerne Østen. Nok en gang legger han ut på en reise som er fylt av utrolige eventyr som til slutt fører ham til Kina. Her møter han bisarre skapninger, kinesiske prinsesser og blir også konfrontert av livsfarlige kampsportmestere. Og han må stå ansikt til ansikt med med kongen av alle drager- Drage Kongen.

The dumbest movie I've seen in a while. The pacing is all over place, going from England to China for some dumb reason. Keep your culture in your own godamn country you dumb englishmen. This is the worst movie (I think) this season/year. I'm pretty sure Jackie Chan and Arnold wants to forget they ever starred in this. Goodbye and goodriddance. There isn't enough words to describe how bad this movie is.

I thought, how bad can this really be? It has fantastical alternative historical action and Jackie Chan... But it really is terrible. The fact that I can only watch the dub makes it infinitely more horrible. They even dubbed over the characters already speaking English, which just makes it ludicrous sounding and impossible to take seriously. This is originally titled Viy 2, a sequel to Viy, titled internationally as Forbidden Kingdom. It has potential, dark fantasy alternative historical fiction, but everything is just done very poorly. Even Jackie Chan couldn't save this film, i seriously didn't even manage to finish it, but a lot of that has to do with the infernal dubbing. I give this 2 stars instead of 1 because it does have alternative historical fiction, it dabbles in the occult and wuxia, which i love, but again, that is a poor salve when considering this incredible trash.
