This film gets under your skin and you can never forget it. I just wish it was the unreleased directors cut, which runs at 3 hours not the released 1 1/2 hours. Why? Because then the film would make sense, and have a good chance at being better than the book (or as good as). Watch this, love it, read the book and watch again!

Score by Tangerine Dream perfectly setts the intensity throughout the film. Magic!

Michael Mann's Gothic masterpiece just gets better with age.😀.
