Starts fast, then gets real slow. Maintains a slow build up until a very unsatisfying end. Remake was much better and easier to watch. Great actors like Mako, Duvall and Caan just could not draw me into the movie. Seems much longer than 2 hours, glad I only rented it. Makes me appreciate the better movies by watching the slow ones like this. Dont misunderstand, a story can be slow and good with a satisfying ending
