It tells the true story of an Englishwoman, Anna Leonowens (Deborah Kerr), who comes to Siam as schoolteacher to the royal court in the 1860's. I loved this movie and read the book. What a great movie this is. I have also brought the DVD and have watched it again. I will rewatch it again soon.
