Scott (Pete Davidson de SNL) ha detenido su desarrollo desde que su padre bombero murió cuando él tenía siete años. Ahora tiene 24 años y no ha logrado mucho más que perseguir el sueño de ser un artista tatuador que está fuera de su alcance. Mientras que su hermana ambiciosa (Maude Apatow, Euphoria de HBO) se va a la universidad, Scott aún vive con su madre exhausta que trabaja en emergencias (Maria Tomei ganadora al Óscar) y pasa sus días fumando marihuana, pasando el rato con sus amigos y teniendo relaciones sexuales en secreto con su amiga de la infancia Kelsey. Cuando su mamá empieza a salir con un bombero gritón, se desencadenan una serie de eventos que obligan a Scott a lidiar con su tristeza y dar sus primeros pasos para continuar con su vida.

Calificaciones y opiniones

Could have been a really good 90 min movie, but they kept in 45 mins of useless stuff. Could probably skip the first half of the movie and you wouldn't even know it. The second half is really great, but the beginning is kind of a slog. A lot of repeated thoughts in multiple scenes. It suffers a lot because Pete is so unlikable for a great part of the movie. The preview looked great, but the movie is scattered. Worth a watch, but probably don't spend $20 on it...

I went into this thinking it was a completely different story, but I loved the actual story. The plot, the characters, the actors. Everything made this movie great. The ending was amazing as well; tying everything up in a nice bow. Just *chefs kiss* wonderful. I would definitely recommend this movie to my friends and family. It is definitely an 18+ movie but that is what Pete Davidson is about. His comedy is amazing, and I'm so grateful to see him on the big screen. It was nice to see some actors that are very well known, as well as some small actors. I bought this on Google Play to watch and I enjoyed it so much, I hope to get a DVD version so I can have a hand-copy. I want to congratulate the Producers, the Actors and Actresses, the Directors, the Screenwriters, and the Costume Designers; you all made a brilliant movie that is now one of my top faves. I love it so much.

Pretty great movie. Believable characters (not necessarily likable, just like life!) and authentic feeling story. Lots of intensity, depth and humour. I liked it a lot.
