In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman (Will Arnett) – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s (Zach Galifianakis) hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

Am very firmly in the grown up age range, but enjoy a lot of animated films like Up and Finding Nemo, I am also a Batman fan. With that said, I probably enjoyed a total of about 5 minutes of this film. There are some good gags in there, but 90% of the film is firmly aimed at kids and you just have to endure tortuous action scenes that make no sense and songs to find the good bits, Probably for young kids it is a decent film, but I am rating this a 2 star because as an adult, it didn't work for me. Very disappointing as I loved the trailer.

I saw it in the cinema and it was colourful but every won laughed at one joke exept me. As i think back at it there eas on story line to engross in its just batman makeing new friends and combating social issues.🙄 Plus i dont like dc EXEPT TEEN TITANS GO but still I hate dc but love MARVEL and i was 6 YEARS OLD WHEN IT CAME OUT

This is both a parody and a buddy movie. But it's also thoroughly infused with the Batman universe. And the writers clearly love Batman. The script is superb. The plot may have a couple of holes, but I just didn't care because the script had such great lines. Lines that generated long laughs and that will stick in my mind for quite a while. The animation is superb, the direction was wonderful, and the characterisations were fresh. There's a case for this being the best Batman movie there's ever been. It covers so much ground, yet it frequently breaks the fourth wall to keep the audience engaged as it does so. If you want a dark, gritty Batman movie then take a hard pass - go and watch Batman (1989) or The Dark Knight. If you want to laugh out loud as you watch Batman learn about himself, then watch this instead.
