Thông tin về bộ phim này

In this big-screen Ninjago adventure, the battle for Ninjago City calls to action young Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja (Dave Franco), along with his friends, who are all secret warriors and LEGO Master Builders. Led by kung fu master Wu (Jackie Chan), as wisecracking as he is wise, they must defeat evil warlord Garmadon (Justin Theroux), the Worst Guy Ever, who also happens to be Lloyd’s dad. Pitting mech against mech and father against son, the epic showdown will test this fierce but undisciplined team of modern-day ninjas who must learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash their true power.

Definitely not up to Lego movie par. Some entering moments but the movie is trying to do way to much. Love Jackie Chan in it, classic, but there story made no sense in terms of why the characters were doing certain things. Probably looked good on paper, and because they spent so much money on it already they had to finish it... c'mon WB.

This wasn't the strongest Lego movie, but it was okay (especially if you consider the fact that it was made without any connection to the TV series). I didn't like the fact that the movie used significantly fewer Lego effects (water, fire, background, etc.) than its predecessors did. I also felt that it was a little too Lloyd-centric for my taste, given that it is the Lego NINJAGO Movie, not the Lego GREEN NINJA movie. However, it wasn't terrible - just meh. Just a one-time watch, in my opinion.

I wouldn't call myself a fan of the Ninjago TV Series, it seems good though and I've found myself watching it with my little brother on occasion. So seeing this movie not follow the TV show's plot much at all somehow still urked me. If you are a fan of the series, watch out. It doesn't feel like a Ninjago movie, but a Lego movie with a Ninjago tinge. With way to much father issues, pressed to hard onto the audience. I would've liked voice actors that sounded more like the originals as well but that's a movie for you. For instance, Kumail Nanjing as Jay, the lightning ninja. Nothing against the actor, or him as a person, but his voice kept pulling me out of the movie. Because in the show that's just so far away from Jay's voice. Oh well, definitely not the best Lego Movie (The Lego Movie and The Lego Batman Movie are very close for first), this is maybe a 6.5/10. Glad I didn't see this in the theater, like for my brother's birthday. But instead rented for a buck, would have been entirely disappointing and maybe even mess with my day.
