Movie of the year. The Last Black Man in San Francisco handles men's relationships so beautifully and with such care. It made me cry. This project was a long time in the making but well worth the wait.

As an East Bay native with social connections to this storyline, this presentation was true in its emotional and factual depiction of the displacement of black families in the City, e.g. Filmore, etc... There are other stories touch upon in this presentation, but the main focus is encompassed in the title. A must see.

Jonathan Majors is the stand out performance, maybe of the year Donald Glover is great but that's obvious Jimmie Fails is amazing. Mike Epps is pretty great in this movie which surprised me.
