With extraordinary access, Director Mickey Lemle (Compassion in Exile: The Story of The 14th Dalai Lama) masterfully weaves intimate interviews with His Holiness with accounts from The Dalai Lama's family and close friends and conversations with those he's inspired since his exile from Tibet in 1959. The film is a transmission of the Dalai Lama's humor, wisdom and compassion, and is beautifully enhanced by an original music score composed and performed by Philip Glass and Tibetan music phenom, Tenzin Choegyal.
