*Warning to parents - partial (long hair covering) nudity, a swear word (dam) is used twice, some characters die (not bloody/gory), and magic used throughout film. While the 'The Last Unicorn' has a decent cult following (likely due to nostalgia); if you're approaching this film for the first time as an adult you're in for a unpolished mess of a film. The animation is choppy (cost cutting cheap), the voice acting is awful, and the story is stilted and weird. Before renting, check YouTube.

this movie has always been one i enjoy watching again and again. the story and the music is so well done i really feel every emotion that is express in the songs and the story i feel every emotion so strongly that i cry along with the characters.. ever since i first saw this movie when i was a young kid i have always love how it was done and i wanted to say if i could give it a rate of 1 mil stars it would still not be enough to express how much i really love and enjoyed The Last Unicorn i just wish more movies were made just as good as The Last Unicorn.

An excellent film, a well told fairy tale with a realistic twist for the Prince: just killing stuff won't make the lady love you. The animation produced by what would later be Studio Ghibli is fantastic, that "Russell Rogers" reviewer should probably put the crackpipe down.
