Mick Haller (MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY) is a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln Towncar. Having spent most of his career defending petty gutter-variety criminals, he unexpectedly lands the case of a lifetime: defending a rich Beverly Hills realtor (RYAN PHILLIPPE) who is accused of attempted rape and murder. I am not going to be to hard on the film. It is an overall easy watchable film with some good acting going on. The film feels a little slow at times and your eyes and mind are left wondering about whether or not you forgot to put the washer on or change the bed sheets. I wouldn't say it was action packed or overly dramatic type of film it is something that you can easy watch without having palpitations or being sat on the edge of your chair terrified about what happens next. Overall the film is what it is and does a good job at the best of times.

One of my all time favourite films following the firm, it dissuaded me from pursuing a career as criminal lawyer lol
