This remake lacks all of the magic that made the original so memorable. While the visuals are stunning, none of the characters seem to emote like they do in the original, and it makes it very hard to connect to any of the characters. The whole movie is like watching a nature documentary, which is actually what I thought when Circle of Life had ended. Clearly Disney has lost it's magic and they're only doing this for the money. Save yourself and watch the original instead

Watching the new Lion King remake is like watching nat geo wild if the animals could sing. There is nothing special about this movie. Casting Beyoncé for Nala was a poor choice, in my opinion. Her voice just doesn't fit with Nala's character. They made Scar way less intimidating than he should have been, which was just a dissapointment. And this was supposed to be a "live action" version but everything is CGI. It doesn't make sense. Overall, this movie is trash.

This is huge let down for me, it really is. The whole movie felt like a documentary with voice overs. Reelism killed this movie's magic and made it dull and stiff. When animating cartoons, your free to anything that's consider on unrealistic you want. As for the characters, they completely ruined Scar's character I like in the cartoon. And this just my opinion, Beyonce is the wrong choice to play Nala. The only thing like from this movie is Donald Glover as Simba. Disney, stop doing these! 🙄
