When it comes to great movies, with memorable characters, a gripping plot and moving messages, they don't get any better than this. This is, by far, the greatest movie I have ever seen. Everything, from the breathtakingly beautiful imagery to the enchanting characters to the epic story to the incredible music (some of the best songs in the entire Disney canon), adds up to make "The Lion King" the most unforgettable cinematic (and theatrical) experience ever! Whether it is your first time watching it (if so, where have you been?) or your thousandth time, "The Lion King" will always leave you breathless and in awe.

This is, and probably forever will be, my all time favorite Disney movie. The story is touching, the music is super good, fun, and catchy, and watching this movie brings back memories from my childhood. Scar is one of the best Disney villains, if not the best. Characters are well developed and you begin to feel connected to them and saddened throughout the events of the movie. The Lion King is a must see for anyone who hasn't seen it.

This is a stunning and masterful HD rendering of an endearing classic. Although I haven't seen it since childhood, it was so beautiful I had a hard time taking my eyes off the screen. I had thought that Disney vaulted movies to make a re-release an event, but it is clear that a lot of work was put in to optimize the movie. It was a lot shorter than I remember it though.
