Joe "Deke" Deacon (Washington), ayudante del sheriff del condado de Kern, es enviado a Los Ángeles para lo que debería haber sido una rápida recopilación de pruebas. Pero en lugar de ello se ve envuelto en la búsqueda de un asesino en serie que aterroriza a la ciudad. El sargento del departamento del alguacil de Los Ángeles, Jim Baxter (Malek), quien encabeza la averiguación, solicita la ayuda de "Deke" de manera extraoficial, por sus instintos policiales. Pero mientras siguen al asesino, Baxter no se da cuenta de que la investigación está sacando a la luz ecos del pasado de "Deke", al revelar secretos inquietantes que podrían amenazar más que su caso.

Calificaciones y opiniones

Left confused. Was Jared Leto the serial killer or was it Denzel? Jared had a container of what looked like evidence against Denzel so, brain is struggling with this one. If the story line ended with the answers, I would have given it five stars. But being left with too many questions makes the movie a bit of a dud.

Looks good but I'll wait until its not THIRTY DOLLARS to rent... when its $6 like the rest i will... or off to the torrent god i go.

Outside some bad editing and no conclusion… it’s an okay film w/ a very strong performance from Jared Leto.
