NOTHING prepared me for the sexually explicit, cruel, and violent content in this film. Its premise is terrible enough; it wasn't necessary to show so much to tell the story. Though it's an interesting take on a dystopian society, I can't recommend this at all. I've made exceptions to my decision to avoid R rated movies for those of social relevance whose theme required content that garnered that rating ("Schindler's List", for example), but I was mistaken in believing this fit that category.

Man what can I say about this movie that has not been said in the comments, why did this movie get made? Terrible waste of time, I mean watching paint dry would be meaningful compared to sitting through this piece of crap movie, damn I'm pissed that I wasted 2 hours...rotten tomatoe rating way off on this POS movie.

The movie started with some well done dark comedy. However, it loses its steam after about an hour or so. The problem is that the movie breaks down into a series of skits that illustrate the same idea over and over again while barely advancing the story. If you're lucky, you'll be able to fall asleep in the second half and dream that it was as good as the first half. If you are a fan of the artist Basquiat, you will probably enjoy the whole thing.
