À propos de ce film

Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer star in The Lone Ranger, from Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Director Gore Verbinski. It's a wild ride of high-velocity action, explosions and gunfights that brings the famed masked legend to life through brand-new eyes. The Lone Ranger (Hammer), the last of his kind, teams with Tonto (Depp), a dark and mysterious vigilante, to seek vengeance after justice has failed them. It's a runaway train of epic surprises, as these two unlikely heroes must learn to work together before the ultimate showdown between good and evil explodes.

The movie was horrible. The whole time youre watching, youre wondering why theyre using modern sayings and references. The characters throughout are all very poorly developed and Depps character is so woefully underachieved. If done correctly they could have thrown out the other stobrylines and made do with just his as an indian seeking revenge but instead, they add a femenine male character lead that makes the movie better suited on nickolodeon than the big screen.

I laughed once or twice, but the rest of the long movie was spent waiting for something interesting to happen. The villain was too dark. You could've taken the bad pirates from the Pirates movies and just dropped them into the villain's gang wholesale. So glad I only spent $5 to rent it instead of buying it -- won't ever watch again.

Everyone can agree that this movie was less than perfect. But there were quite a few decent parts. I wouldn't say that it is worth the $15, but if someone gave you a gift card, it is a good use. I have heard some people complaining about how the story doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but keep in mind that it isn't supposed to. It is also a parody of the Lone Ranger movies and shows. You can see this when Tonto trades the peanut bag for the tobacco. The movie doesn't even take itself seriously (which, granted, is lazy), so I don't think that we are supposed to either. Hans Zimmer also knocked it out of the park with the score.
