I count meeting Kara as a highlight in my life. She's made me a better mother & wife & helped deepen my faith. Although The Long Goodbye is undeniably sad, Kara's sense of humor & vivacious personality almost makes me forget what the film is about! Surprisingly after watching this many times.. It doesn't make me think about suffering or dying but it does make me much more aware of the gift of time. I'm more grateful for my life because of Kara's honest, brave & raw testimony. Her powerful legacy inspires me to ponder my own.

The Long Goodbye is a beautifully produced story of faith and endurance. Kara lived and died well, and with purpose. What a beautiful gift Kara gives her audience, as they are able to experience their own, very personal goodbye to Kara.

The truth is, life is not easy. Bad things happen to good people and cancer can take young mothers from their children. Kara shows us how to live fully and embrace every experience we have here, even if it's death. I loved this movie.
