À propos de ce film

In the conclusion of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic masterpiece, The Lord of the Rings, as armies mass for a final battle that will decide the fate of the world--and powerful, ancient forces of Light and Dark compete to determine the outcome--one member of the Fellowship of the Ring is revealed as the noble heir to the throne of the Kings of Men. Yet, the sole hope for triumph over evil lies with a brave hobbit, Frodo, who, accompanied only by his loyal friend Sam and the hideous, wretched Gollum, ventures deep into the very dark heart of Mordor on his seemingly impossible quest to destroy the Ring of Power.

The following is no criticism of the film itself (which is outstanding), nevertheless it's very disappointing that having waited so long to have this final instalment of the extended trilogy arrive on Google Play, that the so-called 'HD' version only includes a stereo soundtrack?! Why not include a 5.1 soundtrack like the previous instalments? This is not the only film to suffer this carelessness which begs the question, is there any kind of quality control over Google's movie catalogue? I don't expect to find answers here but at least this complaint will be recorded for posterity, and though it's of little consolation its infinitely better than wasting time raising it with customer services, who let's be honest, haven't a clue what to do when such issues are raised.

One of my top 10 films of all time. Each film in the series got better and better, and the first one was amazing. It's a shame there is not a 4th film. The Hobbit's series was good, but the lord of the rings was far better.

Best part of the movie (LoTR is both one book and one movie, split in three), it is truly a decade defining move. PJ nails it, visuals are amazing and my God those two battles. Way too many quotes too name, too. Get them. Get them aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall! *decends into fanboy mode*
